331 days since the tragic passing of Kaine, our goal of turning this horrific pain into a force for good was realized, and we hope that this is only the beginning.
We wanted to raise money to support a foundation that stood up for the often overlooked demographic of youth who struggle with their mental health. After months of consideration, we finally got the green light to write a cheque to the Dakota Foundation: a treatment facility and bi-polar awareness foundation for young adults.
Our cause raised almost $15,000, which will now put close to 6 individuals through a unique, specialized treatment program tailored to their particular needs.
This is a HUGE win.
We cannot thank our community enough... For carrying this cross with us, lightening the load with such abundant compassion and generosity.
